Meetings

Please feel free to come and visit our meetings; if you enjoy yourself and think you might want to try and grow some Gesneriads we welcome you to join us as a new member. Feel free to bring along a friend whom you think might be interested.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Sunday of each month, September through May, at 2:00 p.m.  As of September 2008 the new meeting location is the Edmund C. Bovey Building, on the University of Guelph campus. The building is located on the corner of Gordon St. and South Ring Road extension. The parking lot and entry to the meeting room is also right off that corner of the building. There are many parking spots in that lot and parking is free on weekends. There will be someone at the entry door or a sign clearly marking the door to guide you.

Our meetings will run usually for 1.5 - 2 hrs. including guest speakers, special topics, slides shows, snacks and beverages, a mini show if members bring their plants in or a show and tell of new and interesting Gesneriad plants you are growing. It is a chance to have a lot of fun with new and old friends and learn a lot too.

(If you have any questions you can find contacts on our membership page)
